Crested Gecko Care Guide

Enclosure
 A 20-gallon terrarium is suitable for a single adult crested gecko. Line the bottom of the enclosure with a substrate that retains moisture, such as cyprus mulch. Avoid using substrates that can cause impaction, like loose sand or gravel. Include some hiding spots and climbing structures, such as branches and vines, to replicate their natural habitat. Provide plenty of vertical space, as they are arboreal creatures. Crested geckos are nocturnal, so they don't require UVB lighting. However, ambient room lighting during the day is beneficial. Maintain a temperature range of 72-80°F (22-27°C) during the day, with a slight drop at night.
Diet
 Crested geckos are omnivorous. Offer a staple diet of commercial crested gecko food, which usually comes in a powdered form. Additionally, provide occasional live insects like crickets or small roaches as treats. Feed your crested gecko every other day, removing any uneaten food after 24 hours. 
Hydration
Mist the enclosure with water once or twice a day to create humidity. Ensure the humidity levels stay around 60-80%.Place a small dish of water in the enclosure for drinking but make sure it's shallow to prevent drowning.
Handling 
Give your crested gecko time to settle in before attempting to handle them. Avoid handling them for the first week to allow them to acclimate to their new environment. When handling, be gentle and support their body to avoid injury. Start with short sessions and gradually increase the duration as your gecko becomes more comfortable.
   - Remember, some crested geckos may prefer to observe rather than be handled extensively. Respect their boundaries.
